At athletics we were the first school there. The year sixes started with the long distance 1000 metres run. It was really cold when we got there. But when It was half way through It got much more warmer. We were at athletics practically for the whole day. there were sausages for two dollars and water for one dollar. sports is really fun .there is all sorts of stuff you do for sports. The value of sports is to keep your self fit and active.

Hi Leo. I think it's a great thing when once a year all the midline schools have the opportunity to meet up and have fun together. It's especially great if you love running, jumping and throwing! I enjoyed reading your account of the day. I notice you didn't mention the ice cream at the end of the day. What does an ice cream have to do with athletics? It's a treat well earned at the end of the day.
